The StemWizz Wooden Plane
Engineer your own battery powered plane by combining the wooden wings, tail, rudder and fuselage. Next attach the motor which is the engine and add the propeller. Wire the motor to the battery box which in this case is the planes cabin. Finally to create the landing gear you must attach the brackets to the underneath of the plane, add the metal rod axels to the brackets and attach the wheels to the brackets.
Young people will learn engineering concepts while building the plane and learn how propeller engines effectively convert engine power into useful thrust. Electrical concepts are also explored when wiring the motor to the battery box.
