Description
The StemWizz Ball Pitcher Robot
Get Ready to Bat!
Create your very own ball pitcher robot like we see in baseball and tennis by creating a frame using plastic parts, screws and brackets. Next create you pitcher belt by adding the rods and sleaves. Finally add the spinning wheels which attach to the motor crank shaft and wire the motor to the battery box.
Young people learn about engineering concepts by creating a base and frame for their machine. Electrical circuit and gear concepts are also explored when wiring the motor to the battery box thus powering the motor crank shaft which propels the wheels.
The main parts in this STEM project combines a mixture of:
- Motor
- Battery Box
- Sleeves
- Brackets
- Screws
- Metal Rods
- Plastic Grid Boards
- Ping Pong Balls
