The StemWizz Remote Control Retractable Gate
Build your very own remote control retractable gate. Start by building the gate and frame by using all of the wooden parts and fasteners. Add to frame to your roller tracks. Next add your roller wheels to the gate frame. Secure the dual shaft gear motor to the frame. Wire the motor to the remote control box.
Young people learn about a lot of different concepts with this project. They learn how a dual motor gear shaft can turn the roller wheels on the runner tracks. They learn how a remote control box changes the output’s positive and negative anode via two buttons which controls the motor’s direction of rotation when changing of electricity’s direction which opens and closes the gate. They learn about engineering concepts while building the gate and runner system.
