Description
Create your own vacuum cleaner by engineering a suction system, create a fan by combining the propeller and motor, next wire the motor to the switch and battery box. Place the fan inside the plastic bottle which you attach to the base and seal the end of the bottle with the mesh and a little bit of glue.
Young people learn about negative pressure by removing air from the inside of the plastic bottle when the motor powers the propeller resulting in the suction of air which move particles from the outside of the bottle too the inside and out the other end where the dust and particles are trapped. Motor power and electrical circuit concepts are also used in the project.
The main parts in this STEM project combines a mixture of:
- Motor
- Battery Box
- Switch
- Plastic Bottle
- Mesh Cloth
- Screws
- Bracket
- Propeller
- T Bracket
- Plastic Base Board
