Ready Steady GO!
Build your own sports athlete by creating two frames from plastic tracks, secure the two frames together and attach the gear motor to the frames. Next create a rotation gears system by securing gears to the gear motor and to the larger of the plastic tracks. Attach the battery box to the smaller frame and wire it to the gear motor. Attach your Man/Woman made from ping pong balls and pipe cleaners.
Young people learn about the relationship between gears and a motor along with exploring eccentric gear transmission and by connecting rod transmission the gears propels the plastic tracks creating a sports machine movement.
